the original instructions were small, cramped, and very difficult to read. My re-design is bigger, more colourful, and much easier to read.

Designing Instructions

I re-designed and re-wrote an instruction manual. The improved instruction manual is accessible, usable, understandable, and easy to search. I chose this project for my portfolio because it showcases my design skills, my technical writing skills, and my formatting and layout skills.

The eLearning course can be used on tablets.

I chose to include these storyboards in my e-portfolio, because they showcase a wide variety of skills. In particular, they showcase pedagogy, storyboarding, layout, graphic design, technical writing, and communication skills.

Research

I chose this project for my portfolio because it showcases my research, problem-solving, and communication skills. I researched gestalt principles, because they are an important part of information design (the way information is presented).
